This Thursday I will be giving the opening lecture at the Media Technology Masters of Science Exhibition at V2_ in Rotterdam. The Media Technology MSc program, based at the University of Leiden, is a place where students are encouraged to translate personal inspirations and curiosities into their own research projects (sounds good hey?). The exhibition will show installations realized by (former) students of the Media Technology program in the last six years, as well a hands on laboratory with work in progress. Media Technology MSc Exhibition Jul 10th - Jul 20th 2008 15:00-18:00 Witte de Withstraat 63 Rotterdam

It used to be quite simple: You have a width, length and height and then somewhere inside would be the place 'where you are'. Today this concept of place is obsolete, or at least it has mutated. People used to ask 'Who are you?', but nowadays the more important question has become: 'Where are you?'. (more)

The latest addition to Coca Cola product range, called Diet Coke Plus, is not just low on suger. It is fortified with vitamins and minerals to improve your health. Better than the real thing! Is Coca Cola, which was originally marketed as a health drink, finally returning to its roots? What is this thing with engineered food anyway? My guess is soon we will all be drinking Organic Coke.

Recently, I had some free time to return to my old passion of landscape painting. Not sure if my Bob Ross TV painting skills are just dusty... Things seemed to have changed in the wilderness.
